Cleveland, OH

Brandywine Falls, Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Getting in
A useful crowding tell from the park's own wedding-permit rules: Cuyahoga Valley lists Brandywine Falls as an available ceremony location but does not make it available on weekends, holidays, or during October — the falls are simply too busy then. That restriction applies to wedding permits, not to a three-person proposal, but it tells you which dates to avoid. The boardwalk decks are small and fill up (https://www.nps.gov/cuva/planyourvisit/permitsandreservations.htm).
