- Logan Pass is only reachable by road for part of the year, and the opening date is set by plowing, not by calendar. NPS records list openings as early as May 16 (1987) and as late as July 13 (2020 and 2022), with footnote (f): "Pre-established closing date set for Logan Pass. - Getting in
- No vehicle reservation this year — "Vehicle reservations are not required in 2026." (https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/goingtothesunroad.htm) — but you are on a clock at the top. "The three-hour parking limit will be implemented July 1, 2026 through Labor Day, September 7, 2026 and will be enforced 24 hours each day", and "After parking, visitors must then obtain a free, timestamped parking permit from the parking permit kiosk" (https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/visiting-loganpass-2026.htm).
