Door County, WI
Door Bluff Headlands County Park
The park receives limited usage because it is not developed for active recreational use.
- Getting in
- The county lists the amenities as an "access road" and "natural hiking trails" and nothing else — no restrooms, no shelter, no paved path. "With 252 forested acres, including 6800 feet of shoreline, Door Bluff Headlands is the largest county park in Door County" (https://www.co.door.wi.gov/551/Door-Bluff-Headlands-County-Park). Door County's parks ordinance carries no photography-permit provision, which is why this is amber rather than green; the Facilities and Parks Department is the office to call.
