Door County, WI
Ellison Bluff County Park
- Getting in
- The county states the park "consists of 174 acres with seven thousand feet shoreline inaccessible because of the bluff" and that "there is no access to the water as the bluff is in excess of 100 feet high" — the platform is the view, and there is no way down to the water (https://www.co.door.wi.gov/534/Ellison-Bluff-County-Park). Reserving a Door County park never buys privacy: reserved parks are "not closed to the public," and "all reservations are taken on a first-come, first served basis and are Nonrefundable" (https://www.co.door.wi.gov/766/Door-County-Park-Rentals).
