- No reservation or entry fee, but the trail has been closed outright for structural repairs to the pillboxes before — DLNR closed it for at least 60 calendar days in 2018 (https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/blog/2018/03/16/nr18-036/). Check DLNR trail notices before committing to a date.
