- Winter dates are restricted to a three-day week: "During the winter season, the road is scheduled to be open Friday through Sunday and holiday Mondays, weather and road conditions permitting, and closed all other days," and "All vehicles must carry tire chains during the winter season." The park also warns "Hurricane Ridge Road may be closed at any time due to weather-related conditions." Separately, if you intend an actual ceremony rather than a proposal, Olympic states "A permit is required for all wedding ceremonies held within Olympic National Park."
